Charity Corporate Fun Day in aid of Young Bristol

Events

Come and have a go at racing Cornish Pilot Gigs, one of the fastest growing sports in the South West, in aid of Young Bristol.

We are thrilled to be involved in the Clifton Pilot Gig Club‘s Charity Corporate Fun Day for a second year running. The event on Wednesday 18th September, is a great opportunity for businesses to come together to work on healthy team work, co-operation and whilst out of the water, the chance to network with other participants.

The event will begin with crews undergoing training on dry land, before taking on two sessions on Bristol’s harbour. Crews will then take part in a timed run, culminating in the two fastest crews challenging each other in a final run in front of a cheering crowd. Why not invite your work colleagues to join you post-work!

The afternoon will also give participants an insight into the work of local youth-driven charity Young Bristol, and the opportunity to experience Bristol’s fabulous harbour up close.

Refreshments will be available throughout the event at our Pooles Wharf Activity Centre, with a BBQ held at the end of the afternoon. Full safety equipment including life jackets will be provided.
