We were delighted to welcome over 100 of our supporters to a spectacular fundraising event, ‘A Night at Yeo Valley’, in aid of Young Bristol.
The Charity Dinner organised by Young Bristol’s Fundraising Committee and kindly hosted by Yeo Valley as part of their 2020 Charity Evenings, aimed to raise important funds to support Young Bristol’s work with young people throughout Bristol.
‘Charity Evenings at Yeo’ offer 10 charities the gift of a night at Yeo Valley’s awarding winning canteen, set in the stunning setting of Blagdon. The Charity Evenings include food, the venue and staff to cater for 100 guests. Young Bristol were thrilled to be chosen as one of the successful charities of this fantastic initiative in 2019, and again this year in 2020.
The evening on Thursday 13th February, saw Young Bristol’s supporters come together for a spectacular three course dinner of seasonal organic locally-sourced produce, as well as a drinks reception on arrival.
Our charity auction and raffle was a highlight on the evening. We had a number of very generous local businesses who donated various items to our charity auction. Attendees got in to the theme of Valentine’s purchasing chocolate heart raffle tickets, and bidding on an incredible selection of listings; including a Balloon Flight at Bristol Balloon Fiesta, Mulberry bag and weekend stay.
We would like to thank Yeo Valley for giving Young Bristol the opportunity to benefit from this fundraising initiative. The night would have also not been possible without our generous supporters; thank you for your incredible continued support of our work.
We look forward to organising further fundraising events throughout the year to help us provide more safe, fun and supportive opportunities to young people in 2020.
