Our Treasurer Lee Everson, should have been in the French Alps over the Easter weekend, but instead he climbed the equivalent of Mont Blanc up and down a ladder to raise money for Young Bristol.
Lee took on this challenge in aid of Young Bristol, to help us to support children and families during lockdown, by providing internet access and creative and sports packs to the most vulnerable young people.
So far, Lee has raised an incredible £1,700 and counting for Young Bristol, allowing us to provide further support to children and families during lockdown.
- £22.40 provides a creative pack with 5 activities for one young person,
- £55 provides internet access for a month for one home that doesn’t have it,
- £67.93 provides a sports pack with 7 activities for one young person.
Lee also got to share his unusual fundraising during lockdown on BBC Radio Bristol’s ‘Make A Difference’. You can listen back to his interview via the video below.
We would like to say a big thank you to Lee for his fantastic fundraising efforts. If you would like to support Lee you can donate via his fundraising page here.
