Funding to provide more packs for vulnerable young people

We are thrilled to have received support to be able to provide more vital packs for those young people most in need.

Young Bristol’s Community Youth Clubs and programmes have now been closed for over 6 weeks, and whilst our team are busy engaging with young people virtually, for some young people they are unable to simply access our online support.

Last month, Young Bristol’s Programme Leads delivered packs to 23 families and young people.

“The young people were really missing coming to Youth Club but were buzzing about the activities they could now do using the packs!”

Thanks to the kind support of donors and Severnside Community Rail Partnership & CrossCountry Trains, Young Bristol will be delivering educational, creative and sports pack to 27 families across Bristol this month.

These vital packs will enable young people to access valuable online resources and school work, supporting them in staying engaged during this period of programme closure. They include fun crafts and sports activities to keep them active and creative, as well as mobile broadband devices.

A big thank you Severnside Community Rail Partnership & CrossCountry Trains, as well as those individuals who donated to our 2.6 Challenge and our Treasurer’s Fundraising Challenge.
