40 AQA Certificates awarded to young people!

Last week, Young Bristol’s Creative Team were delighted to deliver over 40 AQA UAS Certificates to young people from our Youth Arts Action groups, at Hartcliffe Club For Young People and Sea Mills Boys’ & Girls Club.

Young Bristol’s Youth Arts Action project launched in September 2019, offering young people ages 8 -19 at two of our Community Youth Clubs, the opportunity to get involved with creative art activities and local community action. The project also provides the young people with the opportunity to gain their Arts Award Certificate and AQAS.

Over 40 certificates were delivered by our Creative Programme Lead Faye, to young people across both of the Youth Clubs, for completing activities such as making photograms, screen printing and spray painting – a huge well done on this amazing achievement!

We look forward to continuing our Youth Arts Action project, which is kindly supported by Global’s Make Some Noise, from June 2020.
