Taking on our 100 Mile Canoe Test on BBC Two

Last night, Will Millard, writer, angler and BBC presenter revisited his journey over two years ago down the River Wye, joining our group of young people on our annual 100 Mile Canoe Test!

The River Wye with Will Millard, explores the river as he travels in the mountains of mid-Wales. At Glasbury, Will joins a group of young people from Young Bristol as they take to the water, travelling 100 miles downriver by canoe and kayak. It is a big challenge and a chance for young people growing up in the city to spend some time immersed in the natural world.

Our annual 100 Mile Canoe Test, is a four-day endurance event offering the opportunity to take on a new personal challenge. Participants call on their skill, determination and stamina to achieve the 100-mile target. The achievement brings a sense of personal fulfilment that will remain with the individual for life!

You can check out how he got on with our Outdoor Activities & Programmes Manager, Matt Donnelly and young person, Eli on BBC iPlayer.
