Young Bristol COVID-19 Statement (05/11/2020)

Dear Parents/Guardians/Service Users,

Following the latest announcement of a national lockdown and updated guidance from the National Youth Agency, Young Bristol has made the difficult decision to suspend delivery of our open access programmes with immediate effect. This means the following programmes will be closed from Thursday 5th November 2020:

  • Community Youth Clubs
  • Outdoor Activities
  • Youth Club on Wheels

The closure of our open access programmes is not an easy decision, especially for those young people who rely on our programmes as safe and supportive spaces.

To ensure that young people can continue to access the support and opportunities that our programmes provide, in-line with national guidance, our team are working to identify methods of delivering both online and targeted face-to-face youth work. Please keep an eye on our social media and website for further information in the coming days.

Young Bristol will continue to monitor youth sector guidance, and will continue to ensure that young people are at the forefront of what we do.

We thank you for your continued support during these challenging times.

For information regarding our updates please refer to www.youngbristol.com.

Yours sincerely,

Lee Williams

CHIEF EXECUTIVE
