A look into Week One of our Holiday Club Programmes!

Young Bristol’s Holidays Clubs officially launched this week, supporting children and young people with enriching activities and healthy food during the school holidays.

The Young Bristol team welcomed 200 young people to our Community Youth Clubs, Outdoor Activity Centres, and Youth Clubs on Wheels; providing a programme of graffiti sessions, healthy food workshops, gardening activities in the Youth Club gardens, watersports tasters, quizzes, sports activities and more.

This week we saw…

432 attendances to our summer Holiday Clubs

228 free prepared meals and drinks provided

30 sessions delivered across the city

23 new young people signed up to our Community Youth Clubs

9 communities were supported across Bristol and the surrounding areas

Our Holiday Club provision for 8 – 12 year olds is funded by the Your Holiday Hub Bristol Programme, supported by Bristol City Council and The Department for Education.

You will find the Young Bristol team working in communities throughout Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, and North Somerset until Friday 3rd September. We can’t wait to see you there!
