The High Sheriff of Bristol visits Sea Mills Holiday Club!

It was fantastic to welcome The High Sheriff of Bristol to our Summer Holiday Club at Sea Mills Boys’ & Girls Club this week.

Young Bristol is delivering a programme of holiday programmes for children and young people ages 8 – 12 years old during the school holidays.

The visit gave Susan Davies BEM, High Sheriff of Bristol the opportunity to find out more about the opportunities Young Bristol are providing throughout the summer and the impact of this work on the local community, as well as how these programmes are bringing young people together post-lockdown to make lifelong friendships.

Young Bristol’s Holiday Clubs are funded by the Your Holiday Hub Bristol Programme, supported by Bristol City Council and The Department for Education. You will find the Young Bristol team working in communities throughout Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, and North Somerset until Friday 3rd September.
