BBC Points West visit The Grove’s Creative Wellbeing Project!

BBC Points West visit young people from The Grove @ Bedminster Down to find out more about their creative project at Bedminster Train Station.

Young Bristol’s Creative Programme has been working with young people ages 8 – 19 at The Grove Youth Club, developing creative ways to improve their mental health through expressive, fun and reflective activities. Members have also had the opportunity to gain their Bronze Arts Awards.

During the school holidays, our Creative Team took young people from our Holiday Clubs on a trip to Bedminster Train Station. Young people created stencils to spray designs onto the pavements in and around the station, to help direct passengers from the Station to the Rail Replacement stop.

BBC Points West attended the session interviewing young people and members of Severnside Community Rail Partnership and Great Western Railway (GWR).

Keep an eye on our social media for updates on this project and our summer holiday provision #HAF2021
