Avon and Somerset Police’s Chief Constable visits BS14 Youth Club

Young Bristol were delighted to welcome Avon and Somerset Police’s Chief Constable, Sarah Crew, to our BS14 Youth Club in Stockwood during March.

The visit provided the opportunity for Sarah Crew, Chief Constable to find out more about the vital youth work that is being delivered in the Stockwood community, discuss the impact that this working is having, and how we can better work with Avon and Somerset Police in the future.

Following the visit we welcomed local Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) who supported one of our open access sessions with local young people. The session gave the group the opportunity to ask questions about what PCSOs do in the community, the law, opportunities with the Police and find out about the negative effects of anti-social behaviour and crime as a young person.

We look to continue to develop and grow this partnership.
