Young Bristol were delighted to host Ashton Vale Club for Young People's grand re-opening, where we invited the local community!
This week, we officially re-opened Ashton Vale Club for Young People! Local residents, councillors and the Deputy Lord Mayor joined us to tour all our new facilities.
Young people from Ashton Vales local community were invited to join us and take part in some fun and engaging activities. We had a wide range for the whole family to take part in, from cricket and football to biscuit decorating.
The Lord Mayor was invited to perform a ribbon-cutting ceremony, symbolising the official reopening of the club! After giving a short speech, the club was officially re-open!
During the ribbon cutting, we awarded long serving staff at Ashton Vale a Celebration of Service Award. The certificates were given to Julie, ex club leader of Ashton Vale and Charlie, the treasurer of the club.
Local Councillors Tessa Fitzjohn and Mark Bradshaw, as well as the Lord Mayor, decided to try out our new gym equipment!
Thank you to everyone that attended Ashton Vales grand re-opening. It was great to see the local community engaging and enjoying the event!
