Pooles Wharf is one of Bristol Harbours’ historic buildings, once known as the ‘Old Smithy’. Its fantastic location overlooks the floating harbour of the Bristol Docks at Mardyke Wharf.
After considerable restoration by Young Bristol, it has served as a classroom and function room since 2000. It is an ideal location to host meetings, conferences and parties. It is air conditioned and can seat 16 people comfortably (20 max).
Catering can be easily organised, and there are tea and coffee facilities located in the small kitchen. There is a pay and display car park adjacent to the building, and it can also be accessed on all of the major bus routes.
The private pontoon allows access by boat or any of the Bristol Ferry services. The services can be easily accessed from Bristol Temple Meads Station. Pooles Wharf is also in walking distance from Bristol City Centre.
