We are delighted to announce that a group of young people from Hartcliffe Club for Young People received a Your Park award, after their voluntary efforts on the Spacemakers graffiti project.
Young Bristol would like to say a huge congratulations to all finalists and winners at the Your Park awards! The awards celebrate voluntary groups and individuals that go the extra mile to bring their local park to life!
The group were nominated for the “Happy and Healthy award”, which celebrates projects that have improved local people’s health and wellbeing by getting people outdoors, being active and connecting with others.
Hartcliffe Club for Young People were nominated for the “Happy and Healthy award” for their work with Spacemakers, Hartcliffe. The team of young people showed a deep commitment to their local park by taking part in a social action project, which included litter picking and graffiti sessions.
Young people really enjoyed taking part in the social action project, with some initially joining to simply get fresh air, but continued to return to sessions as they loved getting involved!





Congratulations to the group at Hartcliffe Club for Young People for winning this award at Your Park. We are incredibly proud of all the work you do in the local community. It was amazing to hear about the inspirational people in Bristol and Bath who are making a huge difference to their local area!
